Mint Room Covid

Hi Friends,

Here are the latest guidelines for Ontario as of February 15, 2022:

 

Photo Sessions: All COVID-19 capacity limits have been lifted and rooms are back to original capacity. No proof of vaccination is required.  Covid-19 screening upon arrival is required until March 1, 2022.

Events: As of March 1st, 2022 all events can be held at full capacity. (please contact us at [email protected] for details depending on the room you have booked). Proof of vaccination will no longer be required.

Checking In

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete our Liability Waiver (must be signed within 24hrs from your booking time). From there you will be taken directly into your studio room. If you come earlier and the room is free and disinfected, we will take you inside and start/end your booking earlier. Otherwise, we will ask you to wait outside of the building premises and we will call you once the room is ready and ask you to come back.

Capacity Limits

We are following provincial guidance on group size limits for bookings at the studio.

  • Ballroom, Conservatory, White Loft, Solarium, Salon & Kitchen: 10
  • Lounge & Library: 8
  • Sanctuary & Nest: 6

30 Minute Gap for Sanitization

We have made the change in our booking calendar to space out all sessions by 30 minutes. This gives us the time to sanitize the rooms in between bookings and ensure that clients can go in and out of the studio without coming into close contact with another party.

Makeup Tables: Unit 301 and Preto Loft

Makeup tables at the Mint Room location will be available in the Unit 301 and can be reserved online

An additional makeup table seat is available to reserve at our Preto Loft location for $25/hour. Kindly note that Preto Loft is 10 minutes away from Mint Room Studios and located at 213 Sterling Road, unit 212.

Automated Check Ins

To limit the number of persons present on premises, our team will be opening & closing the studio remotely for you, whenever possible. Since we will not be on-site to check for damages and cleanliness, a mandatory security hold of $300 will be collected upon arrival. The hold will be released within 24 hours once the room has been thoroughly checked.

Cancellation Policy

Throughout COVID-19 we have been waiving our 20% rescheduling fee as we do understand the current situation. We have a 12-hour notice policy in place, so kindly let us know if you or your clients are not feeling well within 12 hours of your booking so our team can issue a full studio credit for your cancelled booking.

Yourself and/or your client will be able to rebook 14-day from the cancelled session or once all guests are symptom-free.

Mini Sessions

Mint Room Studios will sanitize the rooms in between room bookings, however, photographers hosting mini sessions are responsible for clean up between their client bookings. Photographers must schedule a cleaning window between each client. If needed, we will provide our liquid sanitizer.

Clients arriving for mini sessions will be taken directly to their rooms to ensure that they don’t bump into anyone else in the studio. Your clients must be out of the building before your next client arrives or they will be asked to wait outside the building by our studio staff.

We recommend that your clients fill out a COVID-19 screening  prior to arrival to the studio and bring a printed copy in order to save time and go directly to the room.
