Hustler’s Brunch at Preto Loft

When the top female event professionals in the city gather in one space, you can bet that the air will be buzzing with mega #girlboss energy. This year, Preto Loft was honoured to host The Hustler’s Brunch, an event founded by Diana Pires, as our first event ever held in the studio! This annual invite-only event brings all expert female-led entrepreneurs in the event industry together for a day to talk about what happens behind-the-scenes in their businesses; the hardships, the payoffs and everything in between. It’s the third year of this empowering event which establishes a safe space for guests to open up to these types of conversations.

It seems like it was just yesterday that Pires held Hustler’s Brunch in our Conservatory and Ballroom studio rooms at Mint Room, consisting of a black-and-white colour palette. It’s no doubt that this year she went with a completely different aesthetic, emulating a more romantic tone and utilizing every corner of our brand new studio. As the first event ever held at Preto, Diana certainly set the bar high, bringing in never-ending florals growing from every corner, a blush, off-white colour palette, live music and oodles of activations. Diana decided to keep the iconic donut wall (which, we can all safely say is always a good call). Of course, a brunch isn’t a brunch without a good a caffeine kick; on top of the appetizing courses that were served throughout the day, a Latté Booth powered guests up with bottomless frothy drinks (and for many, this was the first destination of the event).
