East Side Studio set up for an 80-person speaker panel, arranged around our existing “Powdered Sky” installation. The setup used the draoubg and florals as a natural backdrop, with lighting and a podium framing the speaker at the front of the room.
We recently had the pleasure of hosting The Interlude at Preto Loft – an invite-only evening that brought together planners, creatives, and industry peers for a night of connection, inspiration, and conversation.
In partnership with Purple Tree Photography, Mango Studios, and DJ Michael Coombs, and planned by Petals and Pearls, the evening was thoughtfully curated to feel both elevated and effortless. With 70+ guests in attendance, the energy felt lively yet intimate, exactly as it was intended.
The evening began in our West Side studio with welcome drinks, a full bar, a beautiful charcuterie stations, and passed canapés. Guests had time to settle in, reconnect, and ease into the flow of the night.
As the event progressed, guests were guided toward our Powdered Sky installation in the East Side Studio. To create a more intentional transition, we opened select wall panels directly behind the installation, offering a subtle reveal into the next space rather than fully opening the room, which created a beautiful “walk-through” experience.
As guests moved through, they were framed perfectly in front of the Powdered Sky installation, which became the backdrop for the evening’s keynote speaker, Kathy Romero. A globally recognized event planner, Kathy shared thoughtful insights from her experience designing elevated celebrations around the world, followed by a Q&A.

West Side Studio set up for a cocktail reception, featuring styled bar tables and stools, a 12-foot bar, and an oversized charcuterie station. The room was dressed around our Atelier Spring installation, with linens and accessories chosen to complement the florals throughout.
Solarium was set up as a dedicated photo zone for attendee portraits, with white curtains as a clean backdrop. Purple Tree Phootography team used in-studio lighting throughout the evening.
An Intentional Guest Experience, From Start to Finish
The event flow was intentionally planned around each studio space and its seasonal installations. Every event detail in the cocktail reception from the linens to the florals was accentuated by the existing “Atelier Spring” aesthetic.
East Side, West Side and Solarium were used for different activations, guest flow and photo opportunities.
The event used the existing floral installations to enhance it’s aesthetic, saving on large production costs to build installations for a single event.
Preto Loft’s 12 ft. windows provide a unique atmosphere filled with beautiful natural light.
Guests naturally shared photos and videos, drawn to the camera-ready setups across the event space.
The catering team used the catering kitchen and set up folding tables in the hallway outside to keep service running smoothly behind the scenes.
