West Side Studio

The pristine bright walls and ceilings make the West Side Studio the ultimate canvas for creative projects. The rest of the studio is adorned with modern furniture and timeless decor accents. A light bone lime wash on our large arch, and light oak herringbone style floors complete the rooms New York Style Loft aesthetic. The studio has two oversized 13 foot tall windows, large double doors, and folding doors that join the room together with the East Side. The studio room is south facing and has over 900 square feet of shooting space.

ROOM FEATURES

Bright and airy with light coloured walls with modern accents.
1 large bone limewash arch (roughly 132 inches wide and 10 feet tall).
Original exposed brick wall with 2 oversized factory windows facing South. Each window is over 12 feet wide.
Chantilly lace wall colour with grand wainscotting details from floor to ceiling.
Motorized light-diffusing blinds and blackout curtains on each window.
Ideal for portraits, engagement sessions, weddings, branding, lifestyle and events.
The studio can be connected with the East Side which is ideal for hosting events.

Fields of Satin

‘Fields of Satin’ is a floral installation that brings together the elegance of an oversized trendy satin bow and the wild charm of a blooming meadow. Set in the bright, light-filled West Side studio with a white wall as its backdrop, the installation transforms the space into a dreamlike landscape of soft textures and vibrant pastel hues.

At its heart is a striking satin white bow, a symbol of delicate sophistication, around which wildflowers ‘grow’ naturally from the floor, weaving their way through, behind, and around the bow’s graceful curves. A soft white puff will be available for sitting and posing amid the lush surroundings.

The installation’s ethereal combination of trends, textures, colours, and natural light creates an atmosphere of soft romance and serenity.

Preto Loft is the ultimate downtown Toronto location for workshops, intimate weddings, upscale social functions and product or media launches. Our East and West studio rooms can be joined together into an impressive 2000 sq. foot space which can comfortably fit up to 100 people. For smaller-scale occasions, the spaces can be rented separately for a more cozy setting.

For videos and large productions, we recommend renting both studio units for audio sensitivity – this also includes our catering kitchen space.

The rest of the studio adorns modern furniture and timeless decor. A light bone lime wash on our large arch, and light oak herringbone style floors. The studio has two oversized 13 ft tall windows, large double doors, and folding doors that join the room together with the East Side. The studio room is south facing and has 900 feet of shooting space.

Indoor shoe policy

We really appreciate your help in keeping our studios, furniture and rugs clean and tidy. Please take off your outdoor shoes when you enter the studio room, and switch to indoor shoes. There is a $100-300 cleaning fee for furniture stains.

Facilities

Preto Loft Studios are located on the 2nd floor in Unit 212. The unit can be accessed by taking the stairs or freight elevator.

West side studio has automated blackout and light diffusing blinds. Please ask our studio attendant for remote.

Restrooms are conveniently situated in the hallway – no keys are required to access the restrooms.

Freight elevator is located in the small hallway between restrooms on the 1st floor, just outside of the metal loading doors.

Local coffee shop (Ethica coffee) is located inside our building on the 1st floor at 212 Sterling.

Food and drinks

Although we permit guests to bring food and beverages into the room, we kindly request that the space be restored to its original condition upon the conclusion of the booking. Additionally, we ask that no food or drinks be placed in proximity to fabric furniture. There is a $100-300 cleaning fee for furniture stains.

if you are looking for a non-holiday-themed room.

Studio Policy

All reservations must be paid in full. There are no refunds once the booking is confirmed.
To reschedule or cancel an existing booking, you will receive full studio credit through your Mint Room Account by cancelling earlier than 24hrs from your booking time. You will be held liable for the full value when cancelling within 24hrs.
The studio must be returned to its original state before your end time and indoor shoes/socks only are required in each studio.
