Celebrating Mother’s Day in Full Bloom: A Recap of Our Floral Workshop
As the sun shone brightly this past weekend, Mint Room Studios blossomed with creativity and love during our highly anticipated Mother’s Day Floral Workshop. This ultimate Mother’s Day experience in our Ballroom and Conservatory included making a whimsical floral arrangement in a vase created under Katya’s supervision and spending an afternoon with bubbly, snacks and a selection of amazing sweets. With both studios opened up to each other to welcome our guests, the Blush Flora setup was on full display and made for a beautiful backdrop. The atmosphere was infused with excitement as attendees arrived at our studio, eager to tap into their artistic side and create unique floral masterpieces. Our carefully curated event space showcased enchanting decor setups, adding a touch of whimsy and charm to the overall ambiance all throughout the Ballroom and Conservatory studios.
Led by our talented floral designer, Katya Agasiyants of Caprice Decor, the workshop kicked off with a warm welcome and introduction to the array of vibrant blooms adorning the tables. With expert guidance and a wealth of floral knowledge, Katya skillfully demonstrated various techniques, from selecting the perfect blooms to arranging them into stunning floral arrangements.
Our Ballroom and Conservatory studios proved to be the perfect location for an event of this kind, as we opened up the tri-folding divider wall in between the two rooms to accommodate for the number of guests in attendance. Doing so allowed a larger capacity and event space to comfortably host and plan such a workshop and event day.
With 4 different workshop rounds running throughout the weekend, we were excited to greet each attendee and ensured each time slot had an assortment of drinks, desserts, and refreshments for all.
Participants eagerly immersed themselves in the art of floral arrangement, carefully selecting flowers and foliage that resonated with their personal style. The room buzzed with laughter, conversation, and the sound of clippers gracefully snipping stems. From delicate roses to lush tulips and peonies, each attendee had the opportunity to create a unique and personalized floral masterpiece to gift to their beloved mothers or to cherish as a symbol of their own creativity.
Beyond the enchanting blooms, the workshop fostered a sense of community and connection. Attendees shared stories, tips, and laughter, forging new friendships and deepening existing bonds. The workshop became a haven for like-minded individuals to come together, celebrating the beauty of art and the essence of motherhood.
Throughout the day, we captured the magic unfolding at every corner of the studio. The vibrant snapshots and candid moments were later shared on our social media platforms and sent to our attendees, immortalizing the joyous occasion and allowing the memories to live on for years to come.
