Content Creation Day

at Mint Room Studios

Our newly shaped event was meant to endorse all-things mobile and quite nonchalant. Let’s face it. The world is moving towards what’s raw & real. The, once unpopular, unpolished look has been gaining some serious main character energy and we would be silly to ignore it.
If there was anything that this pandemic has taught us, is that we all are much-much closer to each other than we once thought we were. The big velvet curtain of glam got taken down along with flawless celebrity looks and heavily retouched magazine covers. Humanity jumped a long mile in thirst for authenticity and simple portrayal of life “as is”.

And now that we are finally moving past the regulations era, it is time to create memories that life has owed us for the past 2.5 years. Time is everything. And life’s new motto is “Less editing – more living”. What could we say? With a big buzz around the event and getting sold out prior to the date, we most certainly felt that mood from our community.

From the start of planning, we had 1 thing straight: our first Content Day had to take place in the beloved unit 301 – calm, harmonious and contemporary – our youngest studios Salon (nude-toned monochrome living room), Sanctuary, (minimalist stone colours bathroom inspired by Balinese spas), and Kitchen (marble & mint room with accents of black and gold). Truth be told, every studio is worth falling in love with on their own, but when combined together… all 3 rooms perfectly compliment one another, quite literally creating an atmosphere of a chic, stylish, and bright apartment filled with natural light. And you thought BigMac was an ideal combo. 😉 The array of angles diversify their content as much as possible.

At the heart of the Junction Area, we gathered Toronto content creators of all calibers, influencers, small business owners, photographers, and models who were united by the same goal: to create.

No chaos, just an organized workflow – whether producing content for an upcoming collaboration or doing product photography for their brand, all guests showed up with a stellar game-plan and clear content agenda. We loved watching creators go through endless outfit swaps and being on a hunt for creative angles, while rotating around the space at ease, which was a key ingredient to making this shared experience a success.

Our dear guests left the event being bright-eyed and bushy-tailed because they had no chance not to!

P.S. We have received plenty of requests about the second Content Creation Day event, and, truth be told, we are considering it!
