It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! This season, we are thrilled to team up with Sunny Kiani – Creative Director and Planner of fabulous weddings and events at Lux Events Co to bring her vision of a truly magical holiday installation.
Welcome to the Sugar Plum Setup – our fun, colourful and quirky space full of nostalgia in the Ballroom!
When planning this setup in the midst of a very challenging and difficult year, we hoped and dreamed of a space that would warm hearts and bring a huge smile to every face! To replace the worry and unknowns, and to bring the enchanted magic and fairy dust sparkle that Christmas is all about.
From Sunny, “Truthfully, I dream about Christmas all year long – even in Summer – believe it or not! It is a time where memories are created the most; when families gather, laughs are exchanged and moments are built. This year, the focus was on all the little elements that go into planning the most perfect and nostalgic Christmas. Shades of blush and hints of pinks, gentle pastel tones, golds, rose golds and sentiments like gingerbread structures amongst nutcrackers with twinkling lights amongst it all. A space where eyes light up and twinkle amongst all the beauty – this was my biggest inspiration.
Nothing is more gratifying than making a space your own. Whether it be a room, your office or home… it should always symbolize a part of you and bring you endless joy! We believe the same is true with holidays such as Christmas. My motto; go big or go home… SHINE BRIGHT & BE MERRY ALWAYS!”
Inspired by scenes from the Nutcracker, and the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy in particular, this space brings all of your childhood fairytale dreams of Christmas to life. From family photos to Christmas campaigns, this room is perfect for all of your holiday shoots, and we can’t wait to see every bit of magic you capture here.
